What else do you need to buy?
"Ready-to-run" doesn't always mean everything is in the box. Of 50 cars we track, 24 come with a battery and charger, and 26 need at least one bought separately (per each listing's "Needed To Complete" section, checked 2026-10-19).
Common extras
- AA or AAA batteries for the transmitter. Most listings say these are needed or include them.
- A USB power adapter. Several USB-C chargers ship without the wall plug, e.g. the Gorgon listing asks for a "USB Power Adaptor with QC2.0/3.0 18W."
- Battery + charger for cars sold without them, such as most brushless 1/10 models.
- A LiPo charging bag if you use LiPo. See LiPo safety.
